Former Proteas all-rounder Jacques Kallis has been named as the team’s batting consultant for the duration of the summer.

He will join the squad for their camp starting in Pretoria on Wednesday ahead of the Test series against England.
Kallis boasts a combined 519 international matches for South Africa with 25 534 runs and 577 wickets. He retired from all forms of international cricket in 2014 after amassing 62 international centuries - 45 Test and 17 ODI - averaging 55.37 and 44.36 in each format respectively.
He will join former Test wicketkeeper Mark Boucher who has been named as South African team head coach until 2023.

Enoch Nkwe, who was previously interim team director and in charge of the team on a recent tour of India, is the assistant coach, also with a contract until the end of the next Cricket World Cup in 2023.
The 17-man squad for the first two Tests, starting at Centurion on December 26, includes six uncapped players.
Five players who played in a recent 3-0 series defeat in India were dropped, while fast bowler Lungi Ngidi was not considered because of a hamstring injury.
The squad will assemble for a training camp on Wednesday, with three of the players to be released to play for South Africa A in a three-day match against England in Benoni, starting on Friday.
