Usuthu to decide on salary cuts for players, staff
Updated | By Karabo Tebele
Absa Premiership club Amazulu says no final decision has been taken on the issue of salary cuts for players and staff.

The PSL came to an abrupt halt in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, leaving clubs without the revenue it would normally generate on match days.
This has led to clubs considering the possibility of salary cuts.
Reports earlier in the week indicated that the Durban based-club had already reached an agreement with players and staff, but spokesperson Brilliant Mkhathini says this is not the case.
“Management informed employees of the possibility of this in correspondence prior to this week. At the moment it’s still an internal matter the board is dealing with.
“They haven’t given us a final decision on what percentage each individual will be cut.”
There is still no indication as to when the PSL will be able resume.
The government has banned all social gathering as it attempts to curb the spread of coronavirus.
