Prince Harry, Meghan Markle champion youth & education in Joburg

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are focusing on South African youth and their efforts for a better South African during their visit to Johannesburg.

Prince Harry will join her on Wednesday following his visit to Botswana, Angola and Malawi.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will close their Southern Africa trip in the City of Gold on Wednesday.
“More of the same energetic engagements, particularly with young South Africans, particularly those who are just getting started with life whether in education or entrepreneurship,” said British High Commissioner Nigel Casey on Monday.
He said that the couple have adopted South Africa as their “second home”.

Several engagements have been arranged including a visit to a tertiary institution, gender-based violence organisations and a local township.
“Their Royal Highnesses have taken a lot of pleasure from directly meeting and engaging young people here, particularly those who are positive, optimistic and determined to make a difference,” said Casey.
