Twelve-year-old boy calls emergency services on parents

The cops, however, used the opportunity to educate the youngster on 911 etiquette.

A boy was forced to call emergency services twice in Canada after being unhappy his parents served him a salad. Yes, a salad!
The Halifax District Royal Canadian Mounted Police took to Facebook to remind residents to only call 911 when there is a crisis.
“Halifax District RCMP is reminding parents to have a discussion with their children regarding the proper use of 911 after responding to two 911 calls from a 12-year-old.”

The Halifax District RCMP went further to say: ”When RCMP arrived it was an opportunity to speak to the child about their salad as well as when it is appropriate to call 911."

Although the boy’s parents weren’t arrested, the 12-year-old received a talk about the correct etiquette and procedure when having to call 911.
