Car flies through the air in Eastern Cape

We have seen some strange things in 2020, but this car accident in the Eastern Cape left us speechless.

According to Algoa FM, police are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving after a motorist flew through the air on Somerset Street on Tuesday.
The incident happened in Makhanda, commonly known as Grahamstown, a town of about 70,000 people in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa.

Martin Bester wanted to know what exactly happened in the province he grew up in.
“Captain Mali Govender says 28-year-old Sithembiso Sibiya told police that he dropped off his friends at the military base shortly before midnight and ‘bumped’ the pavement on his way home.”

The accident was captured on CCTV footage.
