WATCH: Delivery driver hits vehicle after skipping robot
A delivery driver in South Africa drove straight into another vehicle after failing to notice a metro police officer directing traffic.
Numerous videos shared on social media have shown delivery drivers involved in various accidents.
The latest video, shared online, highlights just how quickly such incidents can occur.
In the video, a metro police officer can be seen directing traffic at a busy intersection, reportedly due to the Comrades Marathon.

While all the vehicles on the opposite side of the road are seen stopping for the officer, an oncoming delivery driver appears to ignore the officer completely.
The video shows the delivery driver approaching from a distance and, without hesitation, running the intersection and crashing directly into a white car.
Although the traffic light was technically green for the driver, he clearly failed to notice the officer managing the intersection.

Fortunately, the man did not appear to be injured, as he immediately stood up, visibly confused by the situation.

Based on traffic signs visible in the footage shared online, the incident appears to have occurred in or near Durban.
The incident reportedly happened around 9:24 am on Sunday, 8 June.
