Divorce clause means Adele won’t write songs about ex-husband
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Adele's new album is likely to be different from her previous offerings due to a clause in her divorce agreement.

Adele’s new album won’t focus on her divorce from husband Simon Konecki, out of respect for their eight-year-old son, Angelo.
Adele and Simon announced they were going their separate ways in April 2019, with Adele filing court documents five months later.
Adele’s fourth studio album reportedly won’t be about heartbreak or her divorce from Simon.

Adele's untitled fourth studio album is the follow-up album to her 2015 release, '25'. Originally expected to be released in September 2020, the album has been delayed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and is now expected to be released this year.
