Together with his band, The Rasta Rebels, he remains a powerhouse in the live music scene, performing at a variety of events ranging from corporate functions to major headline concerts across the country and abroad.
The award-winning artist and producer Dr Victor & The Rasta Rebels fame has now teamed up with rising star Dboy on an inspiring new single, ‘No Fear,’ which was released on Friday, 2 May.
The much-anticipated single delivers a powerful message of inspiration, underscored by a lively Afrobeats groove and enriched with live instrumentals, creating a sound that is both timeless and globally appealing.
Rooted in the idea that we can overcome life's challenges, the song draws from personal experiences, parental guidance, and deep life lessons. It celebrates the resilience of the human spirit.
The track's central message revolves around the acronym FEAR, False Evidence Appearing Real, and encourages listeners to challenge doubt and embrace inner strength.
"I'm trying to move away from the cliché of love songs," says Dboy.
"I decided the lyrics would be motivational while still allowing you to groove. When I received the music from David, I just played it on repeat and let it guide the writing process. It was important for me to create something both meaningful and entertaining."
Dr Victor adds his decades of experience to the collaboration, while Dboy brings a fresh perspective and dynamic energy, resulting in a cross-generational sound that is both universal and uniquely their own.
The single will be available on all major streaming platforms.
