Here's how people are making extra money this holiday

The holiday season is upon us, and that means more opportunities for many of us to make some extra money.

Recent reports show that people are renting out their homes and apartments over the holiday season to make extra money while away on holiday.

According to IOL, a Cape Town man recently revealed that he makes R90,000 for renting out his apartment in Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard.

The man, Niel*, told IOL that he approached an estate agent to help with the short-term let, who informed him that he can ask up to R3,500 a day for his apartment.
“Within a week I had someone contact me about renting it for the four weeks I was away. We negotiated the price and rounded the sum down to R90,000,” he said.

Many reports of people following suit have come through.
People across South Africa are renting out their homes and apartments for huge amounts of money while they are away.
