Jessie J undergoes mastectomy after cancer diagnosis

British singer Jessie J has shared an update after undergoing surgery to remove one of her breasts.

The 'Price Tag' singer recently revealed that there has been no spread of her cancer following the procedure.

Jessie J shared the great news on social media, saying she was crying "happy tears."

Test results following the mastectomy showed that her early cancer diagnosis had not spread further.

The 37-year-old singer openly spoke about her surgery and thanked fans, friends, and family for their support, expressing gratitude for their "prayers, the love, the well wishes, the joy, and all the positive energy."

In a video posted on her social media, the ‘Domino’ singer filmed her son saying: "Mummy's gonna be OK."

"And... I am OK," she captioned the video.

"Results = I have NO cancer spread," she added.

"This video is from the night before my surgery. We called it baby boy. You are my biggest ray of light, and with you in my life, the darkness will never win," Jessie J wrote.

"Lots of healing to go and one more surgery to make these cousins look more like sisters. But for now, it’s gratitude time, and I am changing my name to The LopJess Monster."

The pop star bravely opened up about her health scare in June, sharing that she had been diagnosed with early breast cancer.

She revealed her diagnosis in a deeply personal message to fans on Instagram.
