Local singer Tamsyn Maker from the band Blackbyrd has sadly passed away. Tributes have been pouring in on social media for the singer.

The local singer Tamsyn Maker from the band Blackbyrd has sadly passed away.

The news of her passing was confirmed by family on social media.
"I've met her and she was so talented," Martin Bester said.

On Monday, 14 March, South African musician and TV personality Emo Adams also paid tribute to the singer.
"We losing too many with no warning or signs. You will be missed until we meet again."
