He introduces a brand new genre to the Afrikaans scene with his latest track.
Bester says, ‘The genre is Afrikaans Reggae. At my performances, I always do a Bob Marley song and everyone sings along. It has a feel-good vibe and reminds you of a lazy vacation and that is what I wanted to create.’

Students from COPA made a lyrics video for Martin Bester. The official lyric video was put together by students from Campus of Performing Arts. The students are Kyle Botha (Editor & footage compiler), Gabriella Miranda, Simangasethu Dludlu, Tristan Israelsohn and Andiswa Ncokazi.
