End of an era! Pecks Anchovette and Redro Fish Paste discontinued
It has been announced that Pecks Anchovette and Redro Fish Paste have sadly been discontinued.
Pioneer is sadly ending the production of Pecks Anchovette and Redro Fish Paste in South Africa.

According to a Pioneer spokesperson, the company chose to stop making the fish paste products towards the end of last year as part of an "ongoing portfolio review".
The company reported that people seem to no longer have an appetitive for minced fish preserved in a jar.

It has also been reported that shelves are running low on the beloved fish pastes - and only a few stores have stock left.
