However, after the announcement in October 2024 that they would be getting a divorce, it was also revealed in February 2025 that Rachel would be stepping away from the foundation.
Now, new information, as reported by Daily Maverick, has revealed that the former Kolisi Foundation CEO was dismissed and did not leave voluntarily.
CCMA documents, which were filed in March 2025, indicate that Rachel's departure was a case of "constructive dismissal".
The CCMA documents claim that Rachel was subjected to an untenable working environment.

They state that she was forced to resign after unfair treatment from the foundation’s board created an unbearable working environment.
According to Daily Maverick, the CCMA documents seek reinstatement or compensation while highlighting the treatment Rachel was subjected to.
