R&B singer 'almost died' after sustaining face injury
She was found in a pool of blood by a friend.
Tamar Braxton, known for her hits 'Love and War' and 'Let Me Know', is happy to be alive.

The singer took to Instagram on 19 August to share that she had been severely injured over the weekend.
She shared the shocking news on her Instagram story, writing: “I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can’t even really talk anymore I’m so weak. I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury.”

Braxton then goes into more detail about the facial injuries she has sustained.
"As the days go by the worse it is. I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. 💔💔 the way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins… pray for me for real 💔💔💔💔I don’t even know what happened to me 💔💔.”

She has not yet shared any further updates about her injuries or how they occurred.

Only a few days before this incident, Tamar told her fans that she missed being on stage and wanted to tour after the release of her new album.
This is also not the first time the 48-year-old has suffered a medical emergency in recent years.
In December 2022, she was rushed to the hospital after struggling to breathe and was diagnosed with a bad case of the flu "worse than COVID".
Hopefully, the singer will make a full recovery and be able to continue her latest musical journey.
