Violent shootout between police and suspects on the N1 in Midrand
A shootout video between police and suspects on the N1 at Allandale Road is doing the rounds on social media.
On Wednesday, footage of a shootout between police and suspects in Midrand on the N1 North offramp at Allandale Road forced motorists to use alternative roads.

The road was closed and details about the incident are not clear yet.
According to Midrand Reporter and Metro police spokesperson, Wayne Minaar confirmed that is was a shootout between SAPS and suspects.
