VOTE: Which K-pop group is more popular?
We don't want to start any drama, but it's time for these loyal fandoms to fight for their faves.
K-pop originated in South Korea and has grown in popularity over recent years, evolving from a localised genre to a global phenomenon.

Groups such as BTS have been able to gain next-level fame internationally.
K-pop music encompasses a wide range of youth culture and musical styles, including pop, hip-hop, R&B, electronic dance music, and traditional Korean music.
Another massively successful K-pop group is Blackpink. The quartet — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa — debuted in August 2016, and their debut album 'Square One' featured hit songs like 'Whistle' and 'Boombayah'.

They became the first female K-pop group to sell over one million copies and debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' (2018) and 'Kill This Love' (2019).
In 2020, the foursome released their debut studio set, 'The Album', followed by their sophomore album, 'Born Pink', two years later. This was the first album by a female K-pop group to sell two million copies.

After embarking on their 'Born Pink World Tour', the highest-attended tour by a female K-pop group, Blackpink made history as the first Asian act to headline Coachella in 2023.
While some band members are currently focusing on solo projects, Blackpink kicked off their '<DEADLINE>' World Tour in July.
It's clear that Blackpink are not just one of the most successful K-pop groups of all time, but also one of the most successful performing groups of all time.
But there is a new group on the block.

The girl group HUNTR/X shares many similarities with Blackpink, but what are the many differences between the two?
HUNTR/X is an animated band that is also the main characters in the Netflix hit movie 'KPop Demon Hunters'.
Since its release on 20 June, 'KPop Demon Hunters' has been dominating music services like Spotify and has remained in Netflix's Top 10 films.

The fictional all-girl group HUNTR/X has hit a significant milestone: No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Their song, 'Golden,' has smashed past other hit singles to claim the top spot, becoming the first all-women collective with a song at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart since Destiny's Child's 'Bootylicious' secured the top spot for two weeks in August 2001.
Both these groups are incredibly talented, and we don't want to start a fight, but we are curious...
