If you ever plan on cheating, make sure you’re not doing it at a concert by one of the biggest bands in the world, where thousands of people can see you.

Video footage of a couple allegedly being caught cheating at a Coldplay concert spread like wildfire on social media on Thursday, 17 July.

The video shows a man, alleged to be Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, holding a woman from behind, with the pair appearing quite intimate.

As camera operators moved through the crowd, they landed on what seemed like a normal couple, broadcasting their display of affection on a big screen at the concert.

This prompted the pair to quite literally jump out of each other's embrace and quickly start covering their faces.

According to The Sun, the incident, which involved a married man embracing another woman, took place in Boston, Massachusetts, on Wednesday night.

And the woman in question? She has allegedly been identified as Kristin Cabot, the Chief People Officer at Byron's company.

When the camera landed on the couple, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin initially reacted sweetly, saying, "Oh look at these two."

But as soon as the two jumped apart, the crowd started laughing, quickly realising what is happening.

"Oh, what... either they're having an affair or they're very shy," Martin said.

Pop culture and entertainment news platform, Pop Base, also reported that Byron's wife removed his last name from her Facebook profile, following the viral video.

According to The Sun, Byron’s LinkedIn states that he has been CEO of Astronomer since July 2023.

Astronomer is a software development company understood to be worth more than $1.3 billion.

Cabot has allegedly been working for the company for nine months.

Of course, the internet had a lot to say about the incident:

"Sorry for the wife, but glad they're being exposed and embarrassed."

 "How utterly sad," another wrote

Someone else added: "They are both incredibly stupid, sorry. Why would you go to a concert, of all places, if you are having an affair?"

"LOL. If they'd just stuck it out and smiled for the camera, this would never have surfaced as virally as it did," one internet user commented.

"Their spouses would have left them anyway once they learned of their Coldplay fetish," another joked.
