What was once only seen in science fiction movies might soon become a reality for many.
The Slovakian-based Klein Vision AirCar will reportedly go on sale in early 2026.
According to BBC TopGear, the fully functioning flying car already has all the necessary certifications and will go on sale for £600,000 (around R14,489,238).

Klein Vision's aim is to 'revolutionise the way we think about private and public transportation.'
But mostly, it's just about having a really cool flying car.

TopGear also reported that the flying car will be powered by a new petrol-fuelled powertrain from a South African provider.
It was previously reported that the car would have a BMW 1.6-litre engine, but this has been swapped out for the South African product.
The two-seater flying vehicle is styled like a sports car, with two retractable wings and even a propeller at the back.
With the flick of a switch, the wings will emerge from the car and make for a total wingspan of 8.2 metres.

A tail will also extend from the flying car to increase the vehicle's length to seven metres, ensuring enough distance between the centre of gravity and control surfaces.
AirCar will have a top speed of 124 mph, a kerb weight of 800 kg, and will be two metres wide, 5.8 metres long, and 1.8 metres tall.
The car will come in three versions, which include 280 bhp (brake horsepower), 320 bhp, and 340 bhp, all said to meet future emission regulations.
