WATCH: Man steals Ford Ranger tyre in broad daylight

Video footage of a man stealing the spare tyre off a bakkie has gone viral on social media.

It seems criminals have become bolder than ever when it comes to committing crimes in broad daylight.
A video that surfaced on the social media platform X has left people in shock after a man was caught stealing a spare tyre off a Ford Ranger bakkie.
The two-minute-long video shows the man crawling under the bakkie to remove the tyre while another man waits in a white Volkswagen getaway car.

The entire ordeal, from the moment the man crawled under the vehicle to the moment he loaded the tyre into the car, was caught on camera.
At the end, the man climbs into the car and looks directly into the camera that had been filming him, seemingly realising he had been recorded the entire time.

MDN News reported that the incident allegedly took place at the Valhalla Military Hospital in Centurion, Pretoria.

Speculation surrounding the incident and the perpetrators has run rampant on social media, but police are yet to confirm further details.
