At some point in your life, you have probably witnessed a parent, supporting their child, get a little too fired up next to the field, court or track.

Whether you are a fellow parent, a child, or just a spectator, it's always a little awkward when a parent shouts, screams, and gets too excited.
Not to mention the embarrassment experienced by the child of that parent.

There have been many concerns about parents' behaviour next to the rugby field and their treatment of the referees.
In recent news, a 19-year-old rugby referee suffered from a concussion after being attacked in Oudtshoorn.

Another school rugby referee has gone viral for a more positive reason.

Stefan van Zyl was the ref for an under-15 C school match over the weekend.
Having had enough of one parent's behaviour, van Zyl addressed the situation and gave the parent in question a red card!
