WATCH: School teacher smashes vapes with bricks
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
School teachers have had enough of school kids vaping.

A video of a teacher smashing vapes with a brick has gone viral.
The school system has had a challenge keeping vapes off school property, and this teacher finally had enough. In the video, the teacher can be seen smashing a number of vapes with a brick.
According to the Medical Brief, a South African study said that experts attribute the alarming rate of vaping among South African high school students to easy access, availability, minimal regulation, and limited awareness of the associated dangers.

The study also found that one in six high school pupils are using e-cigarettes within 30 minutes of waking up each day.
They can vape anywhere, any time – in chapel, in class, in the bathroom… The vapour evaporates and smells like mint or cherry chewing gum. We found an enormous amount of vaping, it is off the charts.- Professor Richard van Zyl-Smit, UCT Pulmonologist
As you can see, this teacher did not hold back.

A comment by @mehlomakhuluhazel in the video states, "there's a parent who will come and defend their child for smoking at school."
“Some parents question why the school would take action against their children when caught vaping, because they allow it at home.”- Clinton Classen, Westerford High School teacher
