'Charlie's Angels' star joins 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' cast
Everyone's favourite fashion movie is getting a sequel!
The year is 2006.

Meryl Streep showed the world she could be cold and calculated as editor-in-chief 'Miranda Priestly' and Anne Hathaway stole more hearts as the aspiring journalist 'Andy' in the movie adaptation of the novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger.
The 'The Devil Wears Prada' became iconic in its own right, and now fans will be able to enjoy it once again with the upcoming release of the sequel!

Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway will reprise their roles, as will Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt.
There are also new characters who are joining the fabulous and exhausting world of fashion in the sequel:

- British actor Kenneth Branagh will play the role of Miranda's husband
- Broadway stars Helen J. Shen ('Maybe Happy Ending')
- Conrad Ricamora ('Oh, Mary!')

- BJ Novak ('The Office')
- Pauline Chalamet ('The Sex Lives of College Girls')
One person who will not return is 'Entourage' star Adrian Grenier, who played 'Nate', the boyfriend.

Anne Hathaway has been asked where she thinks 'Andrea' is now:
I think [Andrea] is writing for a wonderful French women's magazine. I think she's a staff writer and she speaks French fluently. I don't think she's married, but she might have a child or two. I think she's pretty fab.
If you are wondering when the new movie will be out, the release date is Friday, 1 May 2026.
The impeccable timing will mean the movie is released the weekend before fashion's biggest night out, the Met Gala!
