It is common for bands to cycle through band members in the rock scene.

In the early years of the genre, when things were a lot more hardcore, many band members had addiction issues or other lifestyle habits that their bands did not condone or want to put up with.

Many rock stars also did not reach an old age, which led to the creation of the 27 Club in pop culture.

One might need to find a replacement for a band member for many reasons, but John Freese has shared his list on social media.

Freese started playing drums at eight-years-old, and the rest was history.

He started his professional drumming career by playing and recording with the sons of Frank Zappa.

He has been in the punk rock band 'The Vandals' since 1989, a member of 'Devo' since 1996, and played for 'Guns N' Roses' from 1997 to 1999.

Most recently, he joined the Foo Fighters after the band's original drummer, Taylor Hawkins, tragically passed away in 2022.

Unfortunately, Fleese broke the news on Instagram saying: "The Foo Fighters called me Monday night to let me know they've decided 'to go in a different direction with their drummer.' No reason was given."

Freese kept his promise and not too long after sharing the news hposted the list of reasons he might have been fired:

Luckily, it all seems very tongue-in-cheek, and there are no bad feelings between the Foo Fighters and the drummer.
