Nutella announces first new flavour in 61 years

Nutella is not your average spread.

The decadent and delicious treat is seen as a "delicacy" in many homes, while kids struggle to understand why they can't have this chocolate spread on their sandwiches or toast every day.
It is even officially classified as a dessert topping!
Ferrero, the Italian parent company of the brand, knew what they were doing when they created Nutella.

Now, for those who are fans of the original, a nuttier variety is on its way.
According to Food & Wine, the North American branch of Ferrero has announced that it will release a peanut-forward version.
Nutella’s first taste innovation in more than 60 years, this latest addition to the Nutella portfolio is the best of both worlds. It combines the distinctive creaminess of Nutella cocoa hazelnut spread with the delicious taste of roasted peanuts. Available starting Spring 2026.- Ferrero North America
This new version is the first in 60 years and the first dairy-free variety available in the US.

Nutella is undoubtedly one of the most popular spreads, and it even has a dedicated day, World Nutella Day, which is celebrated on February 5th.
