When you think of candy and sweeties, you think of sugar, not spice.

BeanBoozled jelly beans have long been tricking those with a sweet tooth and daredevils into rotten egg, stinky sock, and vomit-flavoured beans.

Strange confectionery is nothing new, but at what point do we draw a line and say "no more weird flavours"?

One fast food restaurant has decided to go where no one has ever gone before, and these sweets might not bamboozle you as much as other questionable candies.

According to Snackolator, KFC is gearing up to release jelly beans in fried chicken, sweet corn, and gravy flavours. 

No KFC Krushers here.

If you have ever dreamed of eating a Streetwise 2, but in jelly bean form, then this is for you.

The beans have already been spotted on Redstone Foods, a US snack distributor known for selling the kind of things you only buy on a dare.

It is rumoured that the official launch will be in Easter 2026. 

The internet, naturally, is divided. Some are screaming, “Take my money!” Others are asking, “Why does this exist?” 

As for South Africa? No word yet on whether these beans will make their way to our shelves.

Will these beans be delicious enough to satisfy a KFC craving? Or will the real thing, the dunked wings and a zinger burger, still reign supreme?
