One SA city has again caught international attention by being named the Best City in the World.

The Telegraph has released its winner of their 2025 Travel Awards, and the Mother City has won the title for the seventh time!
Over 20,000 UK-based travellers voted in The Telegraph Travel Awards, and Cape Town placed above other global giants such as Sydney and Seville.
The awards have been running since 1998 and include other categories such as Best European City (Seville), Best European Country (Greece) and Best Country (New Zealand).

This is the second 'world's best list' that Cape Town has topped this year, after being crowned TimeOut's number one.
The Telegraph notes that Cape Town's unique combination of city sophistication, raw beauty, and "photogenic power" sets it apart from the rest.

Cape Town offers everything from the luxurious V&A Waterfront to the majestic Table Mountain, the picturesque beaches and nightlife.
