Many internationally known celebrities call SA home.

From the controversial Elon Musk to the Oscar-winning Charlize Theron, South Africans have been leaving their mark on the international stage.

While you might think you know all the famous South Africans, a few might have slipped under your radar.

Some celebs have proudly South African heritage.

Even though they were not born here, we are happy to claim them as our own.

Digital and social media creator @coolstorybru_za loves to share South African stories, facts and more.

In a recent video, they created a list of celebrities with SA heritage.
