Unfortunately, a recent video on social media captured a reckless driver speeding through a neighbourhood in South Africa.

The CCTV footage shows an Audi driving down a quiet street in an unknown location.

In the first video, the Audi can be seen and heard accelerating down the street, and luckily, there were no bystanders or people on the sidewalk.

There have been no official reports of the incident, but the driver seems to have escaped the quite serious crash without any harm.

South Africans who saw the video did not hold back and were ready to let the driver have it in the comments.

Here are just a few:

  • "Driving like a Polo driver who stole an Audi."
  • "He would've made the bend if he took a wider line into the apex... Bro's vehicle budget is bigger than his driving IQ."
  • "School Holidays, kids be taking parked cars in the garage to practice what they play on Xbox or PS. Hai..."
  • "Was a ghost chasing the driver, because I don’t see the need to drive like a chop?"
  • "Once a Polo driver always a Polo driver."
