Anyone suffering from migraines will tell you it's not just "an average" headache.

They will also be quick to tell you that unless you suffer from this health condition, your headache is NOT a migraine.

According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, "the symptoms of migraine are different from person to person, but often include headaches that keep coming back.

They can also include nausea, vomiting, changes in mood, extreme tiredness, and sensitivity to light, noise, and smells. These symptoms can happen all at once during a migraine attack, or they can happen separately in between migraine attacks.

Migraine attacks may last from hours to days and make it hard to do everyday activities."

Very clearly not just a headache, but a crippling condition.

While there is no permanent cure for migraines, many sufferers have taken to sharing tips and advice amongst themselves.

One woman claims to have found the perfect migraine cure, and her video now has over 4-million views.

While the combo of large fries and a large Coke seems like nightmare fuel for migraine sufferers, the comments beg to differ.

One person replied: "I know it's just the salt and caffeine but every time I have a migraine or even one coming on I get a coke and a fry and it's immediately cured".

Another said they crave salt when their migraines start: "It’s my go to!! I take my migraine meds, sip a Diet Coke, and as my pain goes away, I crave salt …".

Of course, you should always take medical and health advice shared online with a grain of salt, mainly because everybody is different.

Just as migraines vary from person to person, the "cures" also vary, there is no one cure fits all.

While this treat meal might be a temporary solution, it is important to remember that it should not become a habit.
