More than R2,5-million raised with the Good Morning Angels Golf Day
After all the numbers were crunched, the total raised for Good Morning Angels, through the Good Morning Angels Golf Day is R 2 511 855,00!
“I've never been at a golf day like this!”, “The best golf day ever!”, “This was a business class event, the likes of which I’ve never seen before!” are just some of the comments from participants in the Good Morning Angels Golf Day at Irene Country Club this past Friday, 23 September 2022.
The field of 144 players teed off at 10:30, with clear, blue skies ahead for the rest of the day. The players were entertained at each hole, where 34 companies, that sponsored the Tees and Greens, had a variety of games, treats, and surprises for the players. While the players were chasing the prizes on the course, the hole sponsors were up for a prize of R150,000 advertising air-time on Jacaranda FM! Ultimately, the Investec Pretoria four-ball was the overall golfing winners with a score of 96! And, the winning hole sponsor was: Professional Parts on Green #6, where CEO, Verena Koch, and her team hosted the golfers in a very special way.
After the day’s play, the golfers and guests were treated to an evening show of music, a spit-braai buffet, and prizes. Performances by Mia Karma, Kutlwano, Martin Bester and Band, Nadine, and Prime Circle took the evening to the next level! The auction raised another R491 000 and the various raffles over R160 000 for Good Morning Angels!
