Elon Musk plans human trials for brain chip in six months

The tech billionaire is
moving forward with human trials for the Neuralink technology.

Elon Musk recently addressed people at a conference for his company Neuralink where he demonstrated the advances that have been made.

During the presentation, Musk showed the audience trial footage of animal test subjects using the implant to control various interfaces.
Moving on from the demonstrations, Musk then announced that the Neuralink chip will be ready for human trials in about six months.
In one of the demonstrations, the test subject used the chip to “telepathically” type massages on a screen.
The proposed purpose of the Neuralink technology is to help people with various issues such as paralysis and blindness.
The technology is a major advancement in the Brain Computer Interface (BCI) sphere.

Some are hopeful for the future and commented: “As a fairly new Complete T11/t12 para I’m very excited to be a trial user sometime. Gives me hope to feel and walk again and be more productive.”
