The NSPCA conducted the inspection and is expected to lay animal cruelty charges against the farm owners.
The lions have been living in harsh and horrible conditions for some time. According to the Four Paws organisation, the lions were also in bad health and had no access to drinking water.
The team cannot believe that animals are still subjected to such conditions in South Africa.
