Modern-day Bonnie and Clyde shoot prison guard during jailbreak
An American 'drug dealer' and his wife were captured by the police after breaking out of prison.
A video showing the couple's dramatic prison break was captured on CCTV and shared by the New York Post.
The couple, identified as Bart Allen Helmus and Sirinapha Wisetrit, were arrested near the Cambodian border by police in Thailand after an intense standoff. The husband had already been facing the death penalty after police allegedly found a kilo of crystal meth in his apartment.
Bart now faces further charges, including attempted murder after shooting a prison guard.
