Mother throws children to safety from burning building's third floor

Four children were rescued by their mother during a building fire - watch the footage below.

A video is doing the rounds on social media of a mother saving her children from a burning building in Istanbul, Turkey.

The footage captured the children falling from the third floor as volunteers in the street below stretched out a blanket to catch them. In the video that was shared by the New York Post, bystanders can be heard screaming and shouting at the woman not to drop the children.
According to the Turkish media, the children were uninjured after the fall. The mother, however, was taken to hospital, whereafter she then was discharged.
Two other children and two older adults were also rescued.
