PICTURES: Locals spend 10 hours saving trapped cat after floods

cat may have used up one of its lives, but it was a team effort.

According to the Phoenix Animal Care & Treatment page on Facebook, it is not only people who need help after the floods, but our furry friends too.

A post details how the team spent a whopping 10 hours rescuing an adorable cat that had been washed into a storm water drain.
The first attempt at rescuing the feline ended in failure because they were unable to reach it, but the team came back and after much effort, managed to save the cat.

People praised the rescuers commenting: “May God bless each and everyone that was involved in that rescue operation.”
