This school choir is inspiring South Africans of all ethnicities

A school choir singing a song together is going viral for all the right reasons.

It’s a tense time in South Africa at the moment, but this school choir singing together in vernacular is inspiring unity.
A proud mom was filming her daughter singing in a choir concert at Ferrum High School in Newcastle and the video has since been uploaded to social media, bringing with it a sense of unity and joy.
To some, it’s just a song, but to most it represents the kind of South Africa we’re hoping for. It’s children from different backgrounds all united in song.
This simple act shows all of us how easy things are if we simply work together.
