“Things we do when we get drunk” – Tweeps react after man proposes in club

South Africans are divided over a proposal done in the middle of grooving.

Multi-award-winning artist, Cassper Nyovest, wished the couple well after the groom-to-be asked the question while one of his songs was playing in the background.

“Congrats to the couple. This why we make love songs. Wish them all the best,” he tweeted.

A video shows the man dancing in the club. During the groove, the man goes down in what is believed to be another dance move – however, a few seconds later he takes out the box with the ring.

Social media users had mix reactions, with @LuuTeeMoiloa tweeting: “Alcohol's the honest medication u can drink when u propose someone.”

Another user said: "HAHA things we do when we are drunk."
