Watch: Insane video of jaguar attacking crocodile underwater!

If you think you’ve seen anything this crazy, then you need to think again!

Nat Geo WILD presented a week dedicated to nature’s fiercest felines last December. This was a dedication to creatures of magnificent strength, ferocity, and beauty that are rapidly facing extinction.
The jaguar episode focused on the apex predator of the Amazon jungle who is a solitary, opportunistic hunter. One of the main reasons these creatures are going extinct is because human beings hunt them either for sport or to protect their domestic stock.
Because jaguars enjoy swimming, animals underwater are not safe from them. Adult jaguars routinely prey on caimans, especially when they’re sunbathing. This particular jaguar did not wait until the caiman sat on the side of the river. He took on the challenge and hunted the Caiman underwater.

According to Good Things Guy, caiman crocodiles are some of the most ferocious predators that inhabit the Amazon jungles of South America, inhabiting marshes, swamps, and other bodies of water. Black caimans are the largest of all caiman species and can grow up to sixteen feet in length and weigh over 2,400 pounds!
