WATCH: Lions surround and attack leopard
This
unfortunate leopard could not have made a worse decision!
Senior game ranger, Michael Botes, caught a rare moment on camera as a leopard was hunted down by lions.

In the video, you see the leopard being pursued by a few lions and decides to climb a tree to hide.
The lions then surround the tree and trap the leopard high up in the branches, which limited its options.
The leopard then makes a fatal decision to jump down - and lands in the middle of the lions.

The lions wasted no time and went to work taking the leopard down. Even though the leopard fought back, there was no escape.
