WATCH: A massive fire erupts at the Breakers Hotel

The Breakers Hotel in Umhlanga caught fire recently - and the blaze was captured on video.

In the video, you see the hotel going up in flames in the distance, lighting up the surrounding area.
In some additional images, you see that the trees on the property are entirely burnt out, and the ground is charred.

According to the Umhlanga Urban Improvement Precinct (UIP), a fire started at the decked seating area along the promenade.
