Nobuhle, The Scenic Drive's resident "house manager", answered listeners' burning questions about household chores.
Nobuhle is a house manager (a term she much prefers over the usual "domestic worker") employed by a couple of Sandton yuppies. She tries to do as little as possible without getting herself fired.
She also has a wealth of knowledge about solving the most irritating household problems. Her advice is unconventional, but it may be just what you need.
Asked how to get brown stains out of a toilet bowl, Nobuhle said: "Mayonnaise is the answer. Sprinkle some of it in the bowl, leave it for 20 minutes".
