Updated | By The Scenic Drive with Rian
A 23-year-old man arrested for drug possession in Ayutthaya, Thailand tricked a prison guard into letting him out of his prison cell by pretending that there was a snake in the room.

Prison guards in Ayutthaya, Thailand were the fools in a prisoner's cunning game recently, as a 23-year-old man arrested for being in possession of methamphetamine pills tricked them into setting him free.
Anan Komolwanit shouted for help, saying that there was a deadly snake in his cell. When Commander Ratchada Supawong walked into the cell to try and catch the snake, Komolwanit saw an opportunity and ran out, locking the door behind him.
Komolwanit was on his way out when another officer spotted him and gave chase. Unfortunately, the officer fell flat on his face and Komolwanit was able to escape.
200 volunteers and policemen formed a search party and eventually tracked Komolwanit down the morning after. He was found hiding under a banana tree.
Komolwanit now faces additional charges relating to his attempted escape.
