16 pictures that perfectly capture the best moments of marriage
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
A picture speaks a thousand words and for artist Curtis Wiklund, each of those words is an ode to the love he shares with his wife. These illustrations capture their story perfectly.

It is those who have a few years of experience in love and marriage who know and live the truth of the following statement: it is the little things that count.
The moments that you and your partner share in your private little world are what keeps your relationship strong and vibrant. These are the moments worth holding onto with all your might. And, if you are lucky enough to have an artist for a husband, they are the moments that will be immortalised in pencil on paper.

Curtis Wiklund, wanting to take on a project parallel to his wife Jordin's "photo 365" endeavour, began drawing sketches of small interactions within their marriage.
From sad days to hiking trips, including many intimate moments in between, Curtis honoured his marriage with his drawings. The result is the popular series of 16 pictures that highlight the best parts about love and marriage.
Curtis has since compiled all his illustrations about everyday life with Jordin into a book called Us.
