Ant attempts to make away with diamond loot on its back
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
A diamond wholesaler in India found an ant trying to steal a small diamond from the shop.

Everyone knows that ants are extremely hard workers - and it turns out they are not afraid of taking on colossal challenges, either.
A diamond wholesaler in Gujarat, India was amused to find one of nature's tiniest foot soldiers attempting to carry away a sizeable diamond.
The insect scurries along, pushing the rock with determination, stumbling around before appearing to finally find the right track. Ants are known to be able to lift ten times their own body weight, so while the insect is small, its strength is not to be underestimated.
But since it is uncharacteristic of an ant to want to wear flashy jewellery, could it be that the tiny creature mistook the diamond for an oversized sugar crystal?
Either way, the ants in the colony can never accuse this little guy of not pulling his weight!
