Japanese students grow chicken from egg without a shell

In a YouTube video that has gone viral, a group of clever students did an experiment where they used a plastic cup and cling wrap to grow a chick.
According to Daily Mail, they cracked a fertilised egg into cling wrap filled with a chemical solution in order to aid growth, and from the video, it looks like it took just three days for the chick's heart to grow and five days for the embryo to take shape.
By the end of day 21, the chick can even be seen running around. Amazing!
