Owners trot alongside invisible dogs for prizes
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
Dog shows can be a lot of fun to watch, but what would happen if the owners were allowed to compete in a category all on their own? Jimmy Kimmel went looking for answers.

For months, dedicated dog owners in New York prepare their pets to participate in the annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in Manhattan.
Owners bring their well-groomed and well-trained canine companions to the show and take them through a circuit. The circuit showcases the dogs' skills and personalities, and puts them in the running for the coveted Best in Show at Westminster award.

Jimmy Kimmel, ever the cultural observer, had one question about the dog show. What would happen if the owners had as much of the spotlight as dogs did? Would the show still be as fun to watch?
Luckily for Jimmy, the internet has the answer for everything. He found a clip where the dogs had been edited out using green screen technology. This instantly makes the dog show ten times more exciting. See for yourself.
Why is it so funny to see people trotting alongside invisible dogs?
