Rugby player knocks referee out for sending him off
This rugby player needs way more than just a card!
This is probably one of the most disgusting moments we have ever seen on a rugby field.
A video, shared by former Proteas cricketer Allan Donald, shows footage of a French rugby player lashing out at the referee during a match. The vicious attack occurred in a French Cup game between Saint-Esteve and Toulouse.
Just 25 minutes into what was a semi-final clash, a Saint-Esteve player was sent off by referee Benjamin Casty. The carded player, who had just recently returned from suspension, violently punched Casty, knocking him out cold and causing a brawl on the field.
Due to the strength of the blow, the referee had to be sent to hospital. He suffered injuries to his cheekbone and jaw, but avoided a broken jaw.
We honestly have no words!
