This young woman trusts alligators more than she trusts men!
Updated | By Nkhensani Manabe
Gabby Scampone will do almost anything to help these animals.

Working with animals every day can be as rewarding as it is dangerous, especially if those animals have claws or are poisonous. But if it is your passion, you will find a way to make it work.
That is exactly what 22-year-old Gabby Scampone does when she works with alligators in Florida. She gets very close to the reptiles, and acknowledges the very real risk of losing a limb to those sharp jaws. However, Gabby does not let the dangers deter her.

Her rescue work is very important to her - even more important than her love life. She refers to one of the alligators, who is named 'Swamp Thing', as the "love of her life".
Gabby would sooner trust an alligator than she would a man who does not care about her work. Until she find the man who is as dedicated to rescue work as she is, Gabby is content being single.
