Die Tuindwergies' Ruiter Piet is number 1 on the SA Top 20

Ruiter Piet is the solo project of Pieter de Jager.

Pieter de Jager is the former bass player and songwriter for Karlien van Jaarsveld's African Grunge Rock group 'Revolution'.
After Die Tuindwergies' last performance at Jacaranda Day in 2014, Pieter toured around the world, writing about his new solo project 'Ruiter Piet' with his new band.
The band, Die Partytjie, consists of Jaco Mans (Head guitar) Andre van Coller (Saxophone) Jason Hinch (Drums) and Duard Musk (Bass).

“Ruiter Piet en Die Partytjie” is feel-good Folk Rock with underlying Country and Brit Pop elements, and lyrics that deal with ordinary people's things, feelings, and events.
It's a sound for everyone! It makes you laugh, dance, daydream, think, and be nostalgic!
